This recipe has been carefully crafted using the natural sweetness of Nine Tines vodka, with a little sugar syrup to balance the spice of jalapeno and zesty sourness of lime. Ingredients:
- 75 ml Nine Tines Vodka
- 50 ml Triple sec
- 30 ml Lime Juice, freshly squeezed
- 30 ml Water
- 15 ml Sugar syrup
- 1/4 Jalapeno, thinly sliced
- Handful of ice cubes
- 1 tsp each of sea salt (coarse), chilli powder, paprika and lime zest to garnish the rim
- Slices of lime

Prepare Your Glass:
- If you would like the cocktail bar look, start by mixing 1 tsp of sea salt, 1 tsp chilli powder, 1 tsp paprika and 1 tsp lime zest in a shallow bowl - you can adjust the ratios to suit your own taste
- Coat the rim of your glass with lime juice, then dip the outside of the rim into the salt mixture - if you'd like a thicker coat use sugar syrup instead of lime juice

Get your Cocktail Shaker ready:
- Put 75 ml of Nine Tines Vodka, 50 ml of Triple sec, 30 ml Lime Juice, 30 ml of Water, 15 ml of Sugar syrup and half of the sliced Jalapeno in to your cocktail shaker.

Shake:
- Add a handful of ice to the cocktail shaker then shake vigorously until well-chilled.

Strain Into Chilled Glass:
- Fill your glass to the brim with ice cubes then drop in the remaining chilli slices and the lime slices
- Strain the margarita from the cocktail shaker into the glass

Garnish:
- Slide a slice of lime down the side of your glass

Serve and Relish:
- Your Nine Tines Jalapeno Margarita is ready to be savoured.
